What is the Waite Park Community Council?
The Waite Park Community Council (WPCC) is a non-partisan, non-profit 501(c)3 organization officially recognized by the City of Minneapolis as the neighborhood representative of Waite Park. Founded in 1954, the WPCC has long served as a forum to support the interests of the Waite Park neighborhood, and to maintain a high quality of life through community engagement. This forum is used to discuss neighborhood issues, by inviting local policy makers, school faculty, business owners, and other neighborhood leaders to speak. The WPCC encourages all Waite Park residents to attend meetings and participate in discussions.
Monthly public meetings, last Thursdays
The WPCC holds public meetings on the last Thursday of each month at the Waite Park Recreation Center (1810 34th Ave. NE).
